Numerous pets find themselves in shelters due to their owners surrendering them, or worse, left to fend for themselves on the streets before being rescued by an animal shelter. Regrettably, over a million pets in these shelters meet an untimely end annually due to limited space and resources. The primary objective of this application is to combat this issue by facilitating the process for each pet in discovering a caring home.

Pet Pick® is a mobile application designed to assist users in finding adoptable pets. Within the app, users can access detailed profiles of each pet, providing essential information such as their location and contact details. The app aims to streamline the adoption process and make it enjoyable, enabling users to choose their ideal pet with ease.

The application offers various features to help users in selecting their preferred pet:

• Utilize the Search Filter to look for pets based on zip code or specific animal shelters.
• Save your Searches for future reference.
• Bookmark your favorite pets by selecting the heart icon on their profile picture. Your selections are conveniently stored for quick access.
• Add personal notes to your favorite picks.
• Customize your searches by species and breed, including but not limited to dogs, cats, horses, pigs, cows, lizards, birds, rabbits, and guinea pigs.
• Narrow down your search further by selecting pets marked as Urgent, indicating they have limited time and urgently need a loving home.
• Utilize the map feature to visualize the locations of your chosen pets and urgent cases.

Pet Pick is ad-free, allowing users to focus solely on selecting their perfect pet without distractions.
